Ellie Alvarez

Director of Grants and Programs

Ellie Alvarez, MBA is an entrepreneur and established business expansion expert from New York City. Most notably, Ms. Alvarez erupted as a leader in her role as Senior Operations Director in the cannabis space. After completing graduate school at Arizona State University, Ellie spent 8 years in the healthcare space opening clinics and serving as a resourceful liaison in the medical community. In 2016, with the rise of legalization, Ellie thrived as a Senior Project Manager during the corporate cannabis retail boom opening 20 retail locations in 4 years. Her experience includes working with Ultra Health – A New Mexico cannabis company, MedMen Enterprises out of Los Angeles, and Harvest (Tempe). Harvest recently sold to Trulieve for 2.2 billion dollars.

In a volunteer capacity, Ellie held the role of Community Outreach Director for the Women Grow’s Phoenix chapter as well as Senior Fundraiser with the Non-Profit – Dress for Success, Phoenix.

Ellie, now living in Arizona, is consulting with organizations to build business strategies as well as connecting like-minded entrepreneurs within the real estate, healthcare, and cannabis industries.
