Grants

Applicants Must Meet the Following:

  • Christian church organizations.
  • Non-profit organizations with 501 (c) (3) tax exempt designation.
  • No application will be considered from previous grant recipients unless all written reporting requirements have been met.

Priority Will Be Given To:

  • Grant requests that include evaluation tools to measure effectiveness of process and outcomes with a clear definition of program success.
  • Organizations that consult and collaborate with other agencies.
  • Projects that serve significant numbers, so that resources make a greater impact.
  • Organizations that have a board, staff, and volunteers that are inclusive of and clearly reflect the diversity of the community served.
  • Organizations that demonstrate that families served are involved in the planning and implementation of projects and programs.
  • Organizations that provide programs which facilitate changes in systems, within organizations or changes in individuals needed to reach their full potential.

Humble Philanthropy Does Not Fund:

  • Individuals.
  • For-profit organizations.
  • Projects which take place before the completion of the grant application process.
  • Projects inconsistent with federal, state, and local non-discrimination ordinances regarding equal employment opportunity.
  • Campaigns to elect public officials.
